PARACHUTES

Re-purposed military parachutes and sliders became the focus on a series of performative textile objects. Interested in the actions built into the fabric construction, aesthetic and tactile additions were made through embroidery, tufting, and piping, challenging how these materials are used, and what their new purpose might be.
