LOG CABIN [FPP]

Taking inspiration from Mariellea Andreotti’s quilt ‘C’era una Volta’ seen at the Festival of Quilts in 2018, the constraint of the quilt block and categories of colour dictated the overall design of the quilt. Using Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) and a traditional Log Cabin block, shapes and rhythm of composition began to emerge through contrast of pattern quality of colour. [192cm x 192 cm]
